	KIRMIZI - MARSHAN - CEKA, Mahmut T., born in 1948, Ankara, Turkey, Turkish & Albanian citizen. Father side: Abkhazian origin, Mother side :Albanian origin) Architectural Engineer - Town Planner, grad. Istanbul Technical Univ., 1971, as the second out of thirty three students in his class. He earned his M.Sc. from Istanbul Technical University and later did his Ph.D. at the same University's Chair of the City and Regional Planning. Dr. KIRMIZI began his career as an academician in I.T.U. With the publication of his Ph. D. Thesis "Pre Ottoman Anatolian Turkish City" (1980), an extensive study on historical heritage of Turkish Cities in Anatolia, he began to travel to see homelands of Turks ranging from Adriatic Sea to the far ends of the China borders. Coincidentally he had been in various problem areas of the world at the time of those mentioned problems. He has thaught at well known and accredited Universities in Istanbul, such as Istanbul Technical University/Faculty of Architecture, Bosphorus University/Faculty of Engineering, Yeditepe University/Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Between 1989 and 1998 he thaught at the King Saud University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A "Special Service Award” was given to him by the mentioned University for his exceptional services, alongside with a gold medal. He holded various top level management positions in construction companies both in Turkey and abroad. Between 1999 and 2008 he thaught at Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Architecture, Izmir, Turkey, giving computer integrated courses in general, such as “Urban & Regional Planning (with the emphasis on Geographical Information Systems & Information Technologies)”, “Computer Aided Design Studio”, “Geographical Information Systems”, “Computer Applications”, “Urban Design Studio”, “Basic Design”, “Architectural Aesthetics”, “Principles of Architectural Design”, "Building Design". He came back to King Saud University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a new appointment between 2008 - 2010. He taught at Polis University, Faculty of Architecture & Art Design, Tirana, Albania between 2010 - 2013. Recently he is teaching at Izmir Institute of Technology, Graduate School of Engineering and Science, Izmir, Turkey. He is well travelled, multilingual and being also a survival expert, still very much alive and kicking.

	She was born on March 6, 1960, at Izmir, in the province of Aegean in Western Turkey. Turkish & Albanian citizen. Mrs. Kirmizi lived in several European countries studying painting till 1985. She went to Saudi Arabia with her husband who was a professor in King Saud University, Riyadh. She became fluent in Arabic language and became the palace manager of H.R.H. Prince Badr bin Abd al-Muhsin bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud and H.R.H. Princess al-Bandari bint Khalid bin Abd al-Aziz Al (Daughter of the Ex-King Khalid) at Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and then enrolled in the University of Riyadh for further studies of Arabic art and literature. During these years, she met and corresponded with world's most famous art experts, and continued to develop her expertise on art collections. Coming back to Turkey she was accepted to Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Textile Design. She graduated as the first out of forty students in her class. She received her M.F.A.Degree from 9 Eylul University, 2009. Teaching "Digital Design" as an "Invited Professor" at Polis University, Tirana, Albania, Mrs. Kirmizi also continues to be very involved with wearable arts and "Haute Couture" textiles as the Design Coordinator at Faisal Al-Saadawy Arts & Trading Est., Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
